FAQ

Do you ship internationally?

Currently we are only shipping domestically in the USA, but will be expanding internationally with our next drop.

What are these made of?

Every utensil is handmade in Bangladesh. The wood and coconut shell are locally sourced, and each piece is shaped by hand by skilled craftspeople. Bangladesh has a long tradition of woodworking and natural material craft — we're proud to source from there, proud to support the people who make them, and proud to bring a little piece of that heritage into your kitchen.

How do I care for my utensils?

These are wood utensils, so a little love goes a long way:

  • Do not soak in water or put in the dishwasher
  • After washing, dry thoroughly right away
  • Once a week, rub with mineral oil or any food-safe oil (fractionated coconut oil works really well and will not go rancid) to keep the wood/cocout hydrated and prevent cracking.

With the right care, these will be in your kitchen for years.

What if they break?

The top of these utensils are made from thick coconut shell and shouldn't break with daily use.  If they are smashed or thrown around with storage, they may chip so I recommend storing them with the handle down in a utensil holder on your counter top. Unfortunately, we cannot replace broken utensils.

Are these suitable for non-stick cookware?

Yes. Wood and coconut shell are naturally gentle on cookware surfaces. No scratching, no scraping — safe to use on non-stick, ceramic, and enamel pans.

How long will these last?

With proper care — hand washing, thorough drying, and regular oiling — these utensils can last many years. The wood and coconut shell actually develop character over time, becoming more beautiful the more you use them.
